Do I have to purchase my domain from EARTHe to Host here? TOP No, you do not. Once you sign up we will give you nameservers your site is on so, you can login to the domain registrar you purchased your domain name from and update the dns (nameservers) settings. If you are unsure how to do this, We can take care of this for you. Just let us know I have an Existing Website Can I transfer it to you? TOP This depends, If you are hosting with a compatible host to our software, then yes we can. The design work is another story, if you do not own the template (design) of the existing site, then we can move your catalog but not the design. If you own your design, then we can move it. To be sure that your site is or is not compatible, get ahold of us to check it out for you. Will EARTHe Hosting help me figure all of this out! TOP Yes, we sure will. We are putting together a great step by step knowledgebase. And if you would like some one on one over the phone training we would be happy to set up a time. We don't currently have a phone number on the site,because we have little ones running around and its a little distracting, So just request a call. WE AIM FOR A+ Support. You are more than welcome to modify any of the templates in the drop down, You will need an html editor to do this, Like FrontPage, Dreamweaver or a couple good free ones you can find online, CoffeCup html editor, Pagebreeze html editor. You can also hire a designer to get you the look you want, We have several compatible designers on our preferred designer page, Check them out I'm sure you will find several you like. EARTHe also offers Custom and Pre-made designs, Check our templates or send us a request for something custom. Do you have a Phone Number? TOP Yes, We do have a phone number, We don't post it on the website due to little ones running around and it can get noisy at times, so we offer ticket and live chat support. However, If you would like to talk to one of us on the phone for some walk through information, We would be happy to provide you with the number per your request. Can I add products before I get my template? TOP Absolutely, You sure can. The design is its own little part of the website. You will just follow all the usual steps of building, then when your template is done, your designer will simply upload and save it for you. :) Can I accept Paypal TOP Yes, Paypal is totally integrated into the system through mals-e, You just login to your mals-e account that we setup for you when you sign up and enter the email address you use for paypal. Do I have to accept Paypal? TOP No, you sure don't. With the free Mals-e you can capture credit card information to submit to your own merchant service, Some shops do this if they have a storefront and want to just use there Credit Card Terminal from their store. Or, you can upgrade Mals-e to Premium and setup a payment gateway of your choice I believe Mals-e Premium is around 8.00 a month Will I be able to start right away? TOP In most cases Yes, However, we ask you to be patient if you don't see your login information within 12 hours, Then please submit a support ticket. It shouldn't take more than an hour to propogate, but stranger things have been known to happen. What if I don't need a shopping cart? TOP If you don't want a shopping cart and all the extras, and if you are familiar with html and cPanel, Then all you would need for an informational site is our advanced basic account. If you are uncomfortable with html and cPanel then we can help you or you can contact one of our preferred designers. Which EARTHe Package do I need? TOP The EARTHe Basic has plenty of room for a beginning website, I have seen sites with 1000+ Products and have had no problem The EARTHe Premium, Is perfect if you have thousands of products and are offering wholesale, and dropship items. What is Mals-E? TOP Mals-e is the shopping cart that plugs into your storeadmin, so when you add a price to your cart, the order button automatically appears. Mals-e Manages your shipping, tax, promos, vouchers, payment gateways and even an affiliate program if you choose to use this option. Can I do mass product feeds? TOP Yes, you can in your global updates section of the storeadmin, there is a sample .csv file you can use to create one for your products or organize one your dropshipping companies provide you with. The product upload does not upload the options for your products so, you will have some editing of items, if they require options. Will My Website Be Search Engine Friendly? TOP Yes, It is easy when adding products, pages, categories, etc you will see the space provided for keywords and meta title, So as long as your content is good with positive keyword. There is also a Google Base feature, You can automatically upload product feeds at scheduled times. We offer a monthly service to do this for you. We will also provide you information about setting up an .xml sitemap and how to submit to all the major search engines.
